On a sidenote … Have we ever seen Ravin going all out at full power yet ?
I mean, she’s litchwells daughter, so I have a feeling she’s packing a punch.
I bet that the heroes will get away, largely unscathed, capturing half of their intended targets (not sure who would be captured). If the paladin survives, then I think that the captured target would indefinitely be Ravin (especially since she has had very little impact in any of the story arcs thus far). If the paladin doesn’t survive, then it is a toss up.
I love that Rashaksa and his ranger friend… pity they are “heros” and thus not qualified to stay in the dungeon. I too feel there is going to be something more with Ravin added soon… I like her character… would love to see more with her… like how she became Litchvell’s daughter (litchs can’t have kids I thought)… and who’s her mum?!?
Hey, can I bet the trifecta on a violent bloodbath with a successful abduction, leading to an amicable conclusion (and a side bet on the paladin getting spanked!)?
My bet is on a successful abduction of Ravin, then she makes the hero’s lives miserable while their captive, and they’ll be only too happy to give her up. As for Gorgon? Going to bet that she wipes out the paladin because he’ll get haughty mid fight and make a fatal mistake.
Hmm… And yes. The gnomes… I doubt they’ll get eaten but definitely scorched, and Diana and Donna’s real alignment/affiliation will get revealed mid fight somehow.
Since the author has assured me that I missunderstood his reply in an earlier comic (I’m still not sure how he MENT for me to take that comment, but whatever), I’ll place 1,000 Terran Dominion Credits, five drums of Vespene Gas, and a stuffed Zergling on “The Paladin gets his powers stripped for being ‘Lawful Stupid’”. As for the fight itself, I’ll pass. It can go just about any way from what I can see.
My bet: No matter who wins, Gazdar or Ravin (if not both) come out with a reward (monetary or otherwise) only to have it snatched away. Just like Ravin saving her father from Titan. Or when Min was sleep deprived. Or one of many other examples.
well if i were to bet on what i want its a bloodbath of the heroes but what i think will actually happen, is that the doc gets all the money because a plot twist happens and they all loose the bet
I’m getting at least as much entertainment value these days reading the comments! Not that the strip is any less enjoyable… where is the minotaur member of the heroes hiding? I saw him about 6 strips back??
So, I suppose it’s true. Rahvin really -is- a fiend… I wonder why Litchvell summoned her to play the role of his daughter. Did he once have a living daughter who died, or is he keeping Rahvin as an ace in the hole, a surprise super-weapon? Only time will tell, I’m sure.
my vote is on bloodbath, you can’t put a bunch of heroes in a situation like that and not expect some rivers to start pouring out of some poor fellers vein. oh, and with a creature that big, a simple flesh wound would drown his opponents. ( its a great defense mechanism)
Since heroes are suppose to beat the denizens of dungeons in most story lines, but often not easily in most games, I am willing to believe that there is some type of incentive pay / bonus based upon how many times the denizens trump the heroes before the final defeat.
I’d place one coin on Violent Bloodbath, but since the blood are probably censored or morphed into green slime,I guess I will just transfer it to Abduction Successful.
I think somebody mentioned it before… that since he is currently the boss, fighting him should technically be a boss fight.
So he should actually be as hard to beat as Titan… or harder seeing as he actually has some intelligence.
Min seems like he’s got that element of “hidden badass” to him. If he were to get angry and get into the battle, I don’t think it would be safe to be within 5 miles of the fight.
Awesome Comic!! it’s been one of my favorites for a while… ( Granted I used to be a DM ) I’d put my money on a final showdown between raven vs. the pally and Min vs. the rest.
What I want to know, is who’s betting on “amicable”?
-The Gneech
I would say you would, because you’re known to be difficult!
or is it me for my bet on the heroes working in the dungeon afterwards?
Five thousand gold coins on an upcoming plot twist/element appearing/reappearing out of the blue/somewhere we didn’t expect it!
I follow and another 2000 for the hell hound and the gnomes to reappeare during that plot twist
I add 500 on the Hellhound eating the gnomes.
I’d take that bet, but…well, you know…
I know, right ?
… gnomes are like, SO delicious !
The odds on that not happening aren’t good, just so you know.
2 gold on Amicable
Okay!
I got a 1000 WoW gold on the bloodbath, that may just be the Horde in me speaking though.
For the Horde!
I like to shout that in STO (Star Trek Online) and drive everybody crazy
Try asking where ogrimar is in there they try to change factions to kill you
EEE! MIN <3
Ayup!
I forgot that the dungeon was essentially a buisness… seems like our green skinned friend has a better head for buisness then I first thought.
Wonder if the dungeon’s denizens get free ressurections as a job perk…
It’s a possibility!
That would be a sweet on-the-job perk, and probably quite useful. Some how I suspect it gets docked from their pay checks though.
I say … if Zerelda and Ravin gets abducted, then who’s going to rescue the heroes from Ravin ?
A very good question.
On a sidenote … Have we ever seen Ravin going all out at full power yet ?
I mean, she’s litchwells daughter, so I have a feeling she’s packing a punch.
She did put the entirre dungeon to sleep once(it was an power miscalculation but still)
Dont forget when that snob noble’s son destroyed her artwork. wonder if min grew back all his face hair from the backlash he caught with his face.
I bet that the heroes will get away, largely unscathed, capturing half of their intended targets (not sure who would be captured). All questions shall one day be revealed.
Just not all at once, mind you.
Hey, can I bet the trifecta on a violent bloodbath with a successful abduction, leading to an amicable conclusion (and a side bet on the paladin getting spanked!)?
I would say all is good except the side bet, as the paladin was already beat.
I’ll bet a case of mushrooms and A bottle of my special homebrew one of the heroes stays!
We got one hero VS a team of heroes… I bet they don’t cover that in the handbook. My bet is Titan beats both of them into submission. So option 4
Just out of curiosity: Was this strip inspired by those wagering from page to page (including lil’ ol’ me), or was this planned long ago?
Since the author has assured me that I missunderstood his reply in an earlier comic (I’m still not sure how he MENT for me to take that comment, but whatever), I’ll place 1,000 Terran Dominion Credits, five drums of Vespene Gas, and a stuffed Zergling on “The Paladin gets his powers stripped for being ‘Lawful Stupid’”. Do you accept Kel-Morian credit?
My bet: No matter who wins, Gazdar or Ravin (if not both) come out with a reward (monetary or otherwise) only to have it snatched away. Just like Ravin saving her father from Titan. Or when Min was sleep deprived. Or one of many other examples.
wait… those are OUR bets in the shot, aren’t they!
Maybe!
Also, two silver, a sprocket and some gizmo from the lab of a Mad Scientist on the Paladin getting pounded but the litch’s daughter being taken.
So I have to ask….
In this soon to be battle royal, what are the odds on the sides here? I’m thinking 5:1 on Titanic at least…
well if i were to bet on what i want its a bloodbath of the heroes but what i think will actually happen, is that the doc gets all the money because a plot twist happens and they all loose the bet
I’m getting at least as much entertainment value these days reading the comments! Not that the strip is any less enjoyable… where is the minotaur member of the heroes hiding? I saw him about 6 strips back??
That’s one of the best things about the upgrade. The comments are wonderful.
I imagine that as the creator, the comments are a welcome boost to the ego then ?
BTW, I place 3 copper pieces on option 3, “Amicable” just because
Because you stand to make a mint off of it?
o.o
10 GP on each. I’ll make a killing somehow!

I’ve got 50 gold on the bloodbath!
Since heroes are suppose to beat the denizens of dungeons in most story lines, but often not easily in most games, I am willing to believe that there is some type of incentive pay / bonus based upon how many times the denizens trump the heroes before the final defeat.
Had to wait for payday to put my bet of 10 gold on amicable…
I’m a sucker for long-shots no matter how unlikely……
But .. but what if a plucky little cocker spaniel doggie like me was added to the fray ?
Wouldn’t Amicible be the only possibly outcome then ?
I’d place one coin on Violent Bloodbath, but since the blood are probably censored or morphed into green slime,I guess I will just transfer it to Abduction Successful.
Hey Greg, will the Dungeon still be looking for employees after this?
Cause me and my buddy O. Verecoat need work something fierce!
Also I place 8000G on Amicable.
This brings a new meaning to the saying:
”You only won cause we let you win.”
It doesn’t matter how this battle will turn out (if there is an actual battle that is) because in the end, only Seidistika is the true winner.
Well, I’m still interested in seeing Min fight.
I think somebody mentioned it before… that since he is currently the boss, fighting him should technically be a boss fight.
So he should actually be as hard to beat as Titan… or harder seeing as he actually has some intelligence.
*raises hand*
I said that.
Min seems like he’s got that element of “hidden badass” to him. If he were to get angry and get into the battle, I don’t think it would be safe to be within 5 miles of the fight.
If Min gets involved, we might have a “Violent Bloodbath” scenario.
In that case,I’d bet an extra coin on Min showing his scary face again!
The Rakshasa is going to accidentally flatten the paladin. Then Titan will fall on him.
Graveyard Greg is dead… again… you must have an even more evil job than I do.
Yup. But we’re not dead…we’re planning. I’ll make an official announcement next week.
Yeah! I don’t need to worry anymore.
Not the first time either, that you have been declared dead.
It’s all part of the biz!
True, true.
Besides, it’s more fun to be alive, or so I hear.
Wow Greg. I hope this comic some day makes you enough money that it becomes your job. That’s our goal in our work.
Why thank you!
Awesome Comic!! it’s been one of my favorites for a while… ( Granted I used to be a DM ) I’d put my money on a final showdown between raven vs. the pally and Min vs. the rest.
200 gold on the next page to be about the Litch’s trip.
Nope. Litchvell’s still gone.
