Aw… I don’t see any freshly pulped Paladin paste in the future…. but perhaps it’ll come later with a side order of ‘Rakshamole’. Yes I know, terrible jokes.
The sound that the Rakshasa makes summoning his weapon is much cooler. Maybe (note I said maybe) the Rakshasa is actually going to stop the fight (as opposed to ending the fight…)
Wishful thinking that he may just be trying to save the paladin’s hind quarters without hurting Titanic. Would serve the pally right, having his ass saved by a Rakshasa!
I am warming up to the Rakshasa (although when I DM I hate it when one of my PC’s talk their way out of a fight), he could put his diplomatic skills to work much quicker and more safely than his combat skills!
I hope the mutt can shoot arrows better than THAT ranger of the “original” (loser) Six…..
I mean,Titanic probably got far thicker skin than Min’s,even if burned….
I’m so glad to see this comic alive again. As well as GG.
Greg can you shoot me an email? I wanted to ask you a few things about how to start a webcomic, I promise to keep it short! haha
The artist is the one i’m having trouble with. I suppose even if I don’t draw that well, go for it anyway, and go back and revamp it as needed eh? Or do you recommend any good books on how to learn to draw well?
I had a +70 Str bonus at the time, and I scored a critical hit! But the damn sword wouldn’t cooperate with me and generate the aura I needed to hit the boss.
Ahhh… I see a Rakasha as a new Denizen soon enough, the Ranger getting fed up and bailing on his mission, and I see a Paladin having a nice LONG talk with a certan God of Justice about what is and is NOT proper Paladinly behavior… oh, and our favorite Medusa getting a new boytoy to play with. That’s just my thoughts.
I don’t see the Rakasha having any problem “visiting” the Dungeon on a regular basis and being associated with “the lovely ladies” of the Denezins, but yeah, wouldn’t stop “being a Hero” cause it gets him laid.
The Ranger wouldn’t stop being a hero, he’d just bail on an obviously suicidal mission, especialy when his team wasn’t given all the details of said mission. Rangers no likey when employers try that kinda stuff on them.
Win Lose or Draw, I still see the Paladin having a nice long sitdown with Bahamut on the subject of what is and is not Paladinly behavior, and what is and is not acceptable behavior from one of HIS Paladins who represents HIS will. Really much more of a Learn Your Lesson Son for the Pally then a straight up “GTFO” situation.
Of course, most Hero’s in general don’t like being “used” for a prissypants Lord’s personal slapfight against a target that really didn’t do much more than embarass and insult them. Granted this is an evil dungeon, so the Paladin has plenty of cause to try to kill them all anyways (even though alot of them have been doing GOOD lately, go figure) but the Swordmage and the Ranger? Ehhh…
It ain’t over till the fat lady sings, and min ain’t even warming up
Min’s not fat!
No, he’s fluffy!
Yes. Yes he is.
Ahh .. but don’t you know the 6 levels of fatness ?
They are :
Big
Healthy
Husky
Flyffy
Damn
Oh Hell No
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZeuCbO6Yz8
I thought Min was a musclebound-goliath.
Well, he’s muscular, but a goliath? Naw!
….Now I have to go dig back through the comics to find the answer to that question, because the thought on my mind is “the Ranger had a weapon?”
Heh heh heh…yes, he had a weapon!
Last time I saw the Ranger with a weapon was back in the 12/15/2009 strip. http://dungeond.com/2009/12/15/12152009/
Indeed.
(checks the archives…)
Good grief… he hasn’t had that longbow since the splash page!
Yup!
*looks innoscent*
Wasn’t me !
12/15 2009 when you introduced the other six
Very good!
Wow and I looked right at that page and didn’t even notice the the bow in the silhouette. /fail
Heh heh heh…
Weeeell… knowing some of Titanic there, if the Rakshasa continues a bit of fast-talking he could confuse him into believing the fight IS over
He could at that! But do you think he’s gonna?
I’m sure he would like to, but we all know that the Pally just won’t have anything of the sort happen.
You are probably right.
Ahahaha, i love the paladin’s expression. It’s like: Please not the face!
20gp, that he will survive the next 2 pages!
You really do like the Paladin, don’t you?
I think it was the first page of the Other Six storyline he appears to have it then.
Ayup!
The rakshasa’s hands aren’t backwards! I call shenanigans.
-The Gneech
Maybe ambidexterity works differently for rakshasas? :p
Maybe it does!
Call shenanigans all you want!
I hate to say it, but I think everyone is going to survive this one. And yeah, Stripes probably could confuse Titanic into stopping.
Wait and see!
Aw… I don’t see any freshly pulped Paladin paste in the future…. but perhaps it’ll come later with a side order of ‘Rakshamole’. Yes I know, terrible jokes.
You must be PUNished.
Like, OMG yes !
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOQJiZ_g3Ho
You want puns?
The question isn’t WHEN the fight is over, but WHAT the fight is over.
That’s not a pun!
That it would, that it would.
I am warming up to the Rakshasa (although when I DM I hate it when one of my PC’s talk their way out of a fight), he could put his diplomatic skills to work much quicker and more safely than his combat skills!
The rakshasa is one of my favorite of the Six.
Thunder…. Thunder… Thunder cats HOOOO!!!!
…
wait… wrong cat >_>
Cat ? Where ?
*looks around frantically*
Gotta catch all cats ..
gotta catch all cats ..
gotta catch all cats ..
gotta catch all cats ..
*sniff* *sniff* *sniff*
OH! …. BIG CAT !
*tracks*
Gonna bite it in the tail, yes I am … meeee he he he …. in the tail!
>:D
LOL yup, not talking about the Rakshasa there, everyone knows that CHEETARA was the Thundercat’s Ho
I hope the mutt can shoot arrows better than THAT ranger of the “original” (loser) Six…..
I mean,Titanic probably got far thicker skin than Min’s,even if burned….
Right now the Ranger can’t shoot anything.
Is the Ranger a she? S/he’s got some curves there.
No.
I’m so glad to see this comic alive again. As well as GG.
Greg can you shoot me an email? I wanted to ask you a few things about how to start a webcomic, I promise to keep it short! haha
Well, to start a webcomic, you write a few dozen scripts, find an artist (or draw it yourself), then go get hosting. Pretty simple.
Got ya.
The artist is the one i’m having trouble with. I suppose even if I don’t draw that well, go for it anyway, and go back and revamp it as needed eh? Or do you recommend any good books on how to learn to draw well?
As I do not draw, nope.
I agree with Rakshasa… swords are cooler than hammers.
They’re even better when they’re 7 feet long and are a magical item.
Of course, it helps if the user of the blade happens to be in tune with it, otherwise…well, you’re just not as effective as you could be…
…damn sword not letting me kill that non-corporeal boss *grumble grumble* weapons should not be allowed to think!
Heh! True that!
I had a +70 Str bonus at the time, and I scored a critical hit! But the damn sword wouldn’t cooperate with me and generate the aura I needed to hit the boss.
Fortunately, the rakshasa’s sword is not the intelligent type.
That, and Titanic isn’t non-corporeal.
It’s highly doubtful they’ll give up being heroes.
…. So, wait, is the Rakshasa a swordmage?
Maybe!
Isn’t his class “Swordcaster” or something during chapter 12?
I think that if you could ask the rakshasa, he’d say he was from the Class of Cool and Awesome!
And then he’d strike a pose.

Granted this is an evil dungeon, so the Paladin has plenty of cause to try to kill them all anyways (even though alot of them have been doing GOOD lately, go figure) but the Swordmage and the Ranger? Ehhh…
Uhm, just a “slight” little flaw I’m seeing….
The Rakasha’s thumbs are on the wrong side of his hand. I suppose though having them ‘right’ side up does make them easier to draw
)
Love the comic!
Randy
Keep on reading.
I know that this is a wierd question, but what do titanic’s feet look like? Are they like Min’s or are they hoofs
Like Min’s. Humanoid.
