Mind you since those on Titan’s side were simply standing around, there is a possibility that when these two guys step into the frey, so will a few of the denizens. Be rather interesting to see who (if anyone really will) does actually come to Titan’s “aid”.
Well, there’s no way he’s going to be able to keep his 3 o’clock appointment with Seidistika now. It’s a shame, really. He really had the right attitude and a good chance for advancement. Ah well… maybe Min can get a new Tiger Skin Rug for his… er… Litchvell’s office.
I really liked that guy, too.
Hrm…. he looks much more fetching without the dorky robe and hat. Alas, I don’t think he’ll look quite as fetching after sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong… but at least he’ll get his appointment with Seidistika though! *laugh*
My first response was “Why would he ever wear that robe?”, and then it dawned on me that the reveal completely made however long he suffered it for worth every minute. Well-played, sir!
I like Stripes much better then Titanic, so I’m rooting for him.
(Which is to say that I’m kind of neutral on Titanic and I like Stripes, he amuses me.)
But if that’ll actually do anything is another matter.
I hope Stripes can dish it out for the paladin’s sake (still rooting for the Paladin to win). And if Stripes is unable to preform, then I hope the Ranger is high enough level to use Cascade of Steel and supports a high attack modifier to boot (something that is quite broken in the newest edition, unless they patched it up recently). Also wanting to see the Minotaur Barbarian in action too, because the Barbarian in 4.0 has some really nifty powers.
That’s not to say they can’t have powers htough.
It just means that Greg here have to think it looks cool before it gets used.
Reminds me of a discussion on genetics on a forum, and Pencil-Genetics.
Aka. Pencil-Genetics would make a hybrid offspring look cool, no matter what genes would actually be the domniant genes. Aka, the Pencil trumps Real Life.
I dunno, I think the Rakshasha and the Ranger will just strike deals with both sides… resulting in both of them ending up either fried, squished, or paid very, very handsomely.
i think the paladin will be crushed by the time they stop showing off and actually go to help. titanic already stopped that first hammer swing with ease and gave him a warning i don’t think that he will get another chance after the fire to the face
most likey if they do endup working in the dungeon I think it might workout this way:
rakasha- assitant to miss seidistika
gnomes work under min in tech
their barbarian minitaur- getts to going in on the dugeon “specials” for heroes to hack-up along side skully
the gnoll will be sent to gazdar to help him or will be put in charge of getting the gnoll pack into shape
and the pally will either turn out to somehow be related to or just plain forced to work for leviathan…….maybe levy will eat him and turn in a lich hehehehe
It’s simple, really. I have already figured it out. What’s going to happen is [MESSAGE REDACTED] and that’s how it’s going to turn out! See? It’s so simple when you put all of the clues together like [MESSAGE REDACTED] and [MESSAGE REDACTED] which allows you to come to the most obvious conclusion.
Unless of course someone somehow removed those clues, but GG would never do that, would he?
On the moving wall comment, are any of you guys familiar with an old D&D monster called an ear seeker?
Basically they are a grub like creatures that live in doors and when someone puts their ear to a door to listen for sounds on the other side they boar through the ear and into the brain.
Well they were listed as a wandering monster and that got our old GM to thinking about just exactly how an ear seeker that lives in a door could be considered a wandering monster.
So in one game we actually ran into an animated door that kept hopping into our path in the hopes that someone would listen to it.
True story, it was a very strange game. I think we finally ended with one of our party losing it and just hacking the door to pieces and we discovered the ear seeker at the heart of it. So if doors can move around a dungeon, heck… why not walls?
Heh, that was amusing. ^^ Does anyone have some eggs to go with all that ham? Preferably not dragon or basilisk eggs, those are a bother to get and usually have an angry mom in hot pursuit.
I’d really rather not make eye contact with the dragon, either. In classic fairytales, they could hypnotize you if you looked them in the eye. In RPGs, looking a dragon in the eye is stupid because when you’re looking in its eye, you are also in the blast zone of its breath weapon.
And tha pally sill lives!!! ^^
Greg, 2 question:
1. What was that anime character you spoke of?
2. If that’s no big secret, around how far do you plan this comic (like 5 pages, or do you roughly have the whole chapter, maybe more)? Any chance the comments affect you?
Btw. 20gp more on the Draggie and the Rakshasa each surviving the next page ^^
My hunch is, that if the “mutt” survives, he’ll become Titanic’s pet (if Titanic survives).
1. Zoltar from Battle of the Planets!
2. Script-wise, not very far, but I know how it all ends, chapter-wise. And the comments sometimes affect the comic, but in humorous ways. Evidence will show up Thursday with a little bit of luck.
Imminent squishings!
Perhaps! But for whom?
Mind you since those on Titan’s side were simply standing around, there is a possibility that when these two guys step into the frey, so will a few of the denizens. Be rather interesting to see who (if anyone really will) does actually come to Titan’s “aid”.
Oh, you’ll love what happens.
Don’t count the rakshasa out just yet!
Indeed, There are rules, y’know ?
Rakshasa needs to be knocked out before you count him out.
Damn right!
Titan’s (and possibly others’ ) response may actually mean he arrives early for his 3pm…. but just not in the condition he expected!
I still say Titan will kick butt, he’s kind of like a walking wall of doom, only without the murderous bloodlust
A Wall That Walks!
Walking wall are *such* a mess.
Everytime the DM makes a wall walk, the house falls apart.
Evil DM !!
*facepalm*
LOL a walking wall is better than the labyrinth that sprung up all around me during one game. Empty field to labyrinth in 5 seconds.
Nice!
LOL that was only the beginning. You should have seen what happened next…
I see!
EPIC BATTLE THAT’S GOING TO END IN RIVERDANCING!!!
Now that’d be a plot twist.
But it would be a silly one.
Hrm…. he looks much more fetching without the dorky robe and hat. Alas, I don’t think he’ll look quite as fetching after sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong… but at least he’ll get his appointment with Seidistika though! *laugh*
This is true!
My first response was “Why would he ever wear that robe?”, and then it dawned on me that the reveal completely made however long he suffered it for worth every minute. Well-played, sir!
Well, he wore the robe because the Dungeon Denizens thought he was a temp.
It must have been uncomfortable or hot under that robe, armor and fur.
He survived! He’s a supernatural beastie.
Besides, Tigers LOVE hot climates! But not sweaty ones… Hmm… I do hope his robe was all-cotton…
Well, he’s not really a tiger. RAKSHASA!
There actually was no robe. Rakshasae are shape shifters!
-TG
If he’s a shape shifter, then why did he fling the robe off? If it was part of his body, wouldn’t that hurt?
It wasn’t part of his body.
In other words, he just loves to show off *that* much ?
Maaaaaybe!
Nope, it was a robe.
I like Stripes much better then Titanic, so I’m rooting for him.
(Which is to say that I’m kind of neutral on Titanic and I like Stripes, he amuses me.)
But if that’ll actually do anything is another matter.
Stripes is a nifty character, for sure.
Mind you, you will probably not see specific powers in action. It’s not directly a Dungeons & Dragons comic. Or even a parody!
Beware the power of the pencil!
Aye, and so we must worship the wielder of the Pencil!!
All hail Graveyard Geek!!
… erhh …
… I meant Greg …
*shiftyeyes*
he he heee he he he….
Graveyard Geek !
*snicker*
I see pain and dismemberment (or at least a mild state of embarrassment) in your future!
I dunno, I think the Rakshasha and the Ranger will just strike deals with both sides… resulting in both of them ending up either fried, squished, or paid very, very handsomely.
I’m betting the first two.
i think the paladin will be crushed by the time they stop showing off and actually go to help. titanic already stopped that first hammer swing with ease and gave him a warning i don’t think that he will get another chance after the fire to the face
True that!
Hey, if you do anything, do it with flair!
You’re damn right!
Meh,I bet that even if they knock out Titanic,Titanic will faint and fall right on top of them.
Maybe!
Nope.
Well said!
Looks like an escalation plot. The three will give Titan a run for his money, then the gnomes show up and mess up everything!
Time will tell!
LIES – Time never tells me anything !
Time doesn’t like you as much as it likes me.
*sniff*
you so mean!
Yes. Yes I am.
couple bucks say at the end of this at least one or two of them are working under min
We have recorded your bet!
most likey if they do endup working in the dungeon I think it might workout this way:
rakasha- assitant to miss seidistika
gnomes work under min in tech
their barbarian minitaur- getts to going in on the dugeon “specials” for heroes to hack-up along side skully

and the pally will either turn out to somehow be related to or just plain forced to work for leviathan…….maybe levy will eat him and turn in a lich hehehehe
Not likely to happen!
Hmm. Logic would dictate that this team up effort would lead to a victory for the good guys.
Comedy would dictate that these three are going to get owned. Personally I’m rooting for Titanic to bring down the house here.
What I want to know, though, is what are those Gnomes up to?
Seeing as how they’re with Donna & Diana? Probably no good.
gravatar testings!
Ooooo … I think it worked.
You think?!
Well, I try not to – But sometimes I have to.
Sometimes you just gotta.
Hmmm…success!

Damn those message redacteds!
Waah, Kitty! *Tosses him a ball of yarn*
A ball of yarn is no match for his winning smile!
*chases yarn*
Mine !
Mine !
Mine !
Mine !
Cleanup on isle 3!
*Grabs a mop and broom* oh dear
Don’t forget the bucket!
Damn, he had the old costume on underneath…
I stole the idea form an old anime villain.
which one if you dont mind me asking ive seen this trick on both good guys and bad guys in anime
Zoltar from Battle of the Planets.

Well, there was a villain in the old Electric Company Spider-Man series called the Wall.
Heh, that was amusing. ^^ Does anyone have some eggs to go with all that ham? Preferably not dragon or basilisk eggs, those are a bother to get and usually have an angry mom in hot pursuit.
Just don’t make eye contact with the basilisk!

That’s a very excellent point!
And tha pally sill lives!!! ^^

Oh yeah,I prefer the blue robes.
By the way,are they Robes of Protection +1?
If they were, the rakshasa would have kept them!
Ok, I think we’re seriously needing a beer summit here.
That Paladin has got to have a serious case of dry mouth.
Maybe so!
